Mzi acts to save Mazoe and Shamva - Mining Zimbabwe
Former Zimbabwe largest gold producer Metallon Corporation’s owner Mzi Khumalo, has reportedly filed for business rescue for two of its subsidiaries, Goldfields of Mazowe Limited and Goldfields of Shamva Limited, in order to protect the companies’ assets from being seized by creditors. The Business rescue process, as established by the South African Companies Act 2008,Mazowe Mine [including Jumbo Mine], Mazowe gold field,,Mazowe Mine [including Jumbo Mine], Mazowe gold field, Mazowe District, Mashonaland Central, Zimbabwe : Quartz veins with gold mineralisation and rare bismuth tellurium minerals. The Mazowe mine is a merger of several formerly independent mines, of which the Jumbo MineShamva Mine, Shamva District, Mashonaland Central,,Shamva Mine, Shamva District, Mashonaland Central, Zimbabwe : Goldmine opened in 1909. Located E of Bindura. Located 70 km northeast of Harare, produced 52 tonnes of gold by 1982. Gold deposits are found within volcaniclastics, associated with pyrite.
